Hip Pain
Hip joint pain may stem from either arthritis or internal tissue damage within the joint. The pain often presents as a deep ache originating from the groin and/or buttocks and is not typically elicited by touch or pressure. It is not uncommon for the pain to spread from the groin to the knee as well.
What causes this to happen?
Inflammation or wear and tear of the hip joint can cause pain
Compression of the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back to the legs, can cause pain in the hip

Aches or stiffness in the hip joint.
Limping or difficulty walking.
Swelling in the hip area.
Stiffness in the hip or difficulty moving the joint.
Pain in the groin, thigh, or buttock.
A clicking or popping sound when moving the hip joint.
